Advantech understands the importance of product longevity in the embedded industry.
We are committed to longevity support to extend product life and reduce re-design
and re-validation. To realize this commitment, Advantech works closely with suppliers
to build complete AVL (Approved Vendor List) process and systems to manage our upstream
supply chain. In addition, we work with our strategic partners, the 1st-tier suppliers
of critical parts, to offer not only extended longevity support but also technical
roadmaps to ensure our product plans and component selections remain current.
Advantech notifies customers of the EOL plan 6 months before any component phases
out, so everyone has sufficient time to plan for LTB and new-component phase in.
We pay special attention to quality during component transactions.
